Dear Friend,
Have you ever seen a window that looked like this, AFTER it’s been cleaned:

Chances are that if you’ve been cleaning windows for any length of time, you have run across windows just like the one above. You know...
...The window that you scrub, scrape and squeegee over and over again, but never seems to come clean.
These windows have become so stained and embedded with mineral deposits that none of the standard cleaning techniques in your window cleaning arsenal will do anything to restore this damaged glass.
Not only is glass like this an eyesore, it is also costing you time as you repeatedly try to re-clean a window that just won’t come clean, and in the window cleaning business, the more time you spend on a job, the less money you earn.
Also, when you fail to provide your customers with the ‘clean and clear’ windows you’ve promised them, then your company’s professional image suffers… which can cost you money a lot of money in the long run!
As bad as that sounds…
It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way…
You see, I’ve been there before.
Early on in my window cleaning career I was faced with the same challenges mentioned above, but rather than let a corroded piece of glass dictate my company’s success, I instead met the challenge head on and discovered a way to restore stained, cloudy or hazy glass to crystal clear clarity.
Despite how it may sound above, this was not a simple or easy discovery. In fact, it took over a year of constant trial and error and many thousands of dollars to finally perfect a method that would safely and effectively remove stains from glass.

But in the end it was worth it, as I have developed a fool proof system for removing corrosion from all types of glass and windows.
Before I can share my system with you, you first need to understand…
What is Glass Corrosion?
For the purposes of a window cleaner, glass corrosion is basically any type of staining or damage to window or piece of glass caused by exposure to the elements.

The image to your left is a perfect example of a corroded window. This window’s corrosion is the result of years of exposure to hard

water from the building's sprinkler system.
The minerals in the water have bonded to the surface of the glass and overtime have actually etched the surface of the glass making it feel rough and pitted.
Pictured to the right you can see a close up of the mineral deposits that have built up on the gass due to neglect.
There are many different types of glass corrosion, but the most common types of corrosion that window cleaners encounter are:
Hard
Water Stains |
|
Mineral
Deposits |
|
Masonry
Run Off |
|
Oxidation
Damage |
|
Chemical
Hazing |
Stains like these are very common on both residential and commercial buildings and standard window cleaning methods can do nothing to remove them.
There are only two options available to customers with corroded glass:
| Replacement – Corrosion and staining is actually very damaging to the glass and if left unchecked the corrosion will eventually get so bad that the glass must be replaced. Glass Replacement is a very expensive decision. | ![]() |
|
| Restoration – If the corrosion is caught in time, the damage can be halted and if proper glass restoration methods are used, up to 95% of the glass’s clarity can be restored. Glass Restoration is vastly cheaper than Glass Replacement. | ![]() |
Can you guess which option your customer would rather choose?
