Window Cleaning Tip: Never use Windex!

August 1st, 2007 Posted in Window Cleaning Tips

Aside from the fact that no self respecting window cleaner should ever be caught dead with windex in their posssession, there are also several other reasons why you should never use windex to clean windows.

Windex doesn’t clean windows it just smears the dirt around. Windex is also a posion so its not a good idea to be in contact with it every day. Some types of windex can damage wooden window sills and frames and will also destroy window tint if your customers have tint applications on their windows.

Some window cleaners add windex to their water for added cleaning power. This is a useless practice. For best results do not use windex or generic windex products at all.
