The Grinch Stole Christmas - For Real This Time!
December 1st, 2007 Posted in UncategorizedLet me start by saying happy holidays and that I hope you get to
spend it with those you love.
Some people however obviously don’t care about the holiday spirit
and those less fortunate than themselves. And it is because of
these people that I’m writing you today.
Up in Canada a local restraunt in a small town had been raising
money to doante to prive a christmas celebration and presents for
32 needy children. And they did a fantastic job…raising almost
$8,000 for the kids.
However it was all in vain as some despicible person or persons
broke into the restraunt after hours and stole the entire fund. Not
only did they steal the money, but they also stole a much needed
christmas from little kids who already have enough problems.
Stories like this make me sick to my stomach, but is also events
like this that bring out the best other people.
Not to be beaten, the town has rallied and set up a bank accout to
donate to in hopes of replacing the lost money by Dec 15. At the
time of writing this they have rasied almost $1600 with a goal of
$5000.
They have set up a dontation webpage with the details and a live
counter that displays how much has been raised in real time. I have
donated and i hope that if you are financially able that you can
give a little something to help out some very deserving little kids.
Please understand that I make absolutely nothing for telling you
about this. I just believe that everybody deserves to have a
christmas so I’m helping spread the word.
